That's quite a delay. At least three seasons. As long as they can take the time to do it right, it's probably for the best.

Woah, this is pretty major. Did they think the entire show looked like crap and needed a do-over?

Wow. From April to 2019. Even the source material got delayed, too.

Quote:
The anime staff cited "various circumstances" as the reason for the postponement.

Same thing for Sareido.

Hopefully this leads to a higher quality product, cause that promo art looks pretty bad.

It's Sareido all over again, huh?

I guess someone must've really disliked the previous PVs.

Good. Seeing White Fox doing two shows next season had me really worried about the quality of Steins;Gate 0. Hopefully now I have no reason to worry.

I've been meaning to read the light novels before the anime came out, so I guess this gives me a bit more time. Which is good, because it means now I can wait for the physical copies of the books to come out instead of having to get the ebooks.

Glad that they postpone this, I am not a big fan of the story but the anime promo art looks REALLY bad, so I am worried the animation gonna be bad as well

Hopefully they can reach the popularity of Re:Zero or even better since they are postponing this because people has been having high expectations for White Fox ever since the Dynamic success of ReZero

That's too bad, but Spring has enough going on as it is so I'm fine with it being pushed back. Almost a whole year does seem odd, but hopefully that just means they actually want to put out a good product (and maybe rework those character designs a bit).

As long as Hajime's face doesn't look like it went through a trash compactor it'll be much improved.

Which show is this referring to? I have known about shows having the rest of their runs postponed during them, but not prior to airing.

I kind of don't mind. Gives the studio the opportunity to focus on both this and SG0 as needed. Plus, I wasn't a fan of the promo art (the one linked in the article), so maybe there will be some improvement in that department...

And at least I can catch up on the light novels. Razz

Which show is nicknamed "Sareido"?

Update: I saw the post with the Encyclopedia entry link.
