The mecha are too light, I'm telling you!
Watching lightweight ninja mechs just isn't as fun.
Also I feel the story looks to be decent enough, though a huge plot point was the world was bankrupting itself to build and maintain the robots of that size. To think the bottleneck is now pilots is ignoring that somewhat.
It could still be good, but I'm not hopefully. "Oh look we have CG, let's make everything light and zippy." I long for my days of Cherno Alpha.

Yeah, I really hope this will be good. Weight issues aside, the visuals are looking splendid.

Yeah, that is quite the leap in capability over the Jeagers of the first movie.
