will the big news be that it isn't getting an anime adaptation and that what they leaked before was fake
because otherwise I don't see anything as surprising to people

Most likely some visuals for the main cast and perhaps who will be the VA since the anime was already announced

It could be that there is going to be an anime version. If there is and it wasn't properly announced by the publisher or anime production committee, then it would make sense to remove it from a web listing via being leaked.
