No you're misunderstanding. The episodes will be available same day as the Japanese release. It would be as if the dub was airing as a simulcast rather than the usual 2 week delay Simuldubs have. |

I’m really hoping that this’ll turn out like it did for S2 where they I were able to keep up with the Japanese broadcast for 12 episodes instead of the stated six, up until the beginning of the second cour. It helps that all the voice actors and staff absolutely adore BNHA and are eager to work for it. |

I hope the season two dub will eventually be added to Hulu as well. I've enjoyed what I've seen of the My Hero Academia English dub a lot but sadly I don't have a Funimation account. One of these days I'll have to get myself a VRV account.

On twitter in the same announcement from FUNi that they will do a same day simuldub for MHA. ANN didn't consider it news worthy for some reason. |
