I get this is a series mostly like designed to pull your heartstrings and make you cry but that title... I'm sure it makes sense in context but for now, it sounds like pure narm.

Gotta be an auto-correct of the real title "Let me eat your pancakes" an adaptation of one of several new food-centric manga to be released in the last few years...

My first thought when I read the title, I was like "what the heck?" The plot is depressing and touching but the narmy title kind of amuses it

At the very least, they could have followed the example of the butchery trade and used the more appetising term 'sweetbread' instead.
