Are they not going to tell us what happened? What exactly is there to apologize for?

In the absence of actual information, I'm going to irresponsibly hazard some guesses...

Huh? If it was something in public, wouldn't the fans in attendance be able to say what happened?

Edit: Okay, from what I can find, she supposedly showed up incognito among regular fans at an talk event for three of the male voice actors by her own accord, tried for whatever reason to get attention on herself and was prevented and/or kicked out by the officials since it wasn't anything planned/approved by the organizers and she was disturbing the event. And she was criticized for being unprofessional.

From what I understand from a Japanese article dated from 3 days ago, she outed herself & another seiyu that were in the audience in disguise, causing a brief disruption at the event.

Bizarre if that's true. Isn't being a narcissistic attention seeker part of the idol job description?

Not without permission it isn’t.

I doubt there was anything nefarious here: idols/staff showing up in the audience for events of related talent isn’t uncommon at all. Outing yourself in the middle of the event unplanned and throwing the thing for a loop IS, so either she got a little too in character and the people around her noticed, or she did something dumb and tried to bring attention to herself.

Either way hopefully it’s a lesson learned and there aren’t any hard feelings.

Having read Sparvid's post, now I see why she was kicked out. I have to say, though, that I agree with it. That was really rude of her.

Disrupting someone else's event, fair enough, that is pretty unprofessional. I do hate it when articles only mention something vague like "improper behaviour", though.

Only while strictly following the specific instructions of the agency. Anything outside of that is Very Bad.

Well they did say that the agency would be reflecting on this as well as the idol. It is possible that someone at the agency thought that this would be a good idea until the fans objected. I would assume that people there to see three guys would not be interested in the girl.

*female idol waves hello to male idol*

*female idol's fans have a complete nuclear meltdown and claim she's become impure*

This is just a satirical way of what might entail "improper behavior" for idols.

This is Japan, not Hollywood. They have a bit more etiquette in regards to this kind of stuff.
