There is a red advertisement on the anime page on the AT-X channel on age restriction, ie the series will be broadcast on this channel uncensored (remembering that the AT-X channel is a special channel, such as HBO) : https://www.at-x.com/program/detail/10750
Unfortunately the transmission on the AT-X channel will be 3 days after the broadcast on conventional channels, so the official streaming version is probably censored. |

^ if so, it's likely age 15, not 18 as an american might think. Most movies that are more explicit are R15. But yeah it's very likely everyone else is getting the censored version until the BDs

R-15 + to be more accurate (according to the Japanese page of the series in wikipedia - R + 15 指定 / リ ト ト ト 放送 あ り), but the AT-X version will only come out a few days after the release of the version that will be broadcast on HIDIVE, it will probably be censored. |

I have encountered Japan's R-15 programming before, and I'm still amazed that several BS/CS channels air pornography at 2400 JST with an R-15 rating.
BS/CS channels, including AT-X, seems to be a different animal on it's own. I observed that when an anime movie airs on Wowow, it's still technically not a "TV broadcast". Japanese only consider it a "TV broadcast" when it airs on terrestrial channels like NHK, Nippon TV, etc. |
