interesting...freezing is one of the series i buy and seven seas seems too of slowed down their releases of omnibus collections to two a year, so aside from this news allowing them too catch up over here which would take 3 years by that two a year time frame, It doesnt affect me that much and im looking forward too their new work
Even though this does sound dark, id be more worried about their health, still disappointed with H.O.T.D. or MM! I just hope they manage too finish freezing.

Another series to put on my infinite on-hold list I suppose. I'm personally not enjoying the current arc too much anyway.

Hopefully it's as good as the first half of Legend of Maian.

This author can not finish a work
He has about 3 works in hiatu
The Legend of Maian
Aflame Inferno
Re:Birth 2 - The Life Taker
The author had to stop creating new works
And focus on finalizing the other
I hope one day he will come back with The Legend of Maian

Kinda saw it coming due to the slow releases lately. Kim really needs to give Freezing the finale it deserves.
I wished 7 Seas would provide all the color pages in their 2 in 1 volumes. Well, at least we'll catch up to the Japanese releases.
Also, the new manga sounds cool. I'm looking forward to it.

This is why it it is dangerous for a manga-ka to work on multiple projects at once. Now, if they have the skills to do 1 work every other week and another in that gap, more power to them. A more extreme case of hiatuses was with Rumiko Takahashi when she sporadically worked on "One-pound Gospel" between 7/34/1987-12/21/2006. The manga was only 4 vol. long.
In terms of the gap of when a manga started to when it finished, be it by the creator or a person appointed by the creator's estate, I think the most extreme case was "Cyborg 009. I include any possible re-make or "this 'final chapter' has been decided to now be the actual series finale"-type decisions. Total time with all that was almost 50 years. This doesn't count one-shots, shorts, or adaptations of things like "Cyborg 009 Vs. Devilman" or "009 Re:Cyborg".

I....dont like the sound of that. If it's for health reasons sure why not. I'm all for a new series sounds good but I can't help and think of the unfortunate fates of The Legend of Maian and
Aflame Inferno
