The poor horsey probably googled itself and then commited suicide shortly after. :l

It died of old age.

At least the mare was allowed to live to a ripe old age and living in North America. There was a racehorse, Ferdinand, that was put to stud and sold to a breeding farm in Japan. In 2002 he was sent to slaughter with no notice to previous owners.
