Yep. And the original Gundam Battle Operation, years ago on actual PS3, which this is practically just a port of. They had a different sequel, Battle Operation Next, which was like a combination of Gundam Versus and GBO nobody liked, so it seems like for this one they just went "ehhh screw it we'll do GBO again".
Aaaand that's pretty much exactly what happened, since it looks and plays as clunky as it always did, just with an overworld camp to run around in now. It's still also the only option for anything like it - multiplayer Mobile Suit shooter battles online, rather than a fighting game - so it's easy to see why it's trudged along despite everything. I'll probably doink around with it again myself for the sake of it, but like, yeah, don't expect any miracles from this game. |

Yes its free, and you can earn tokens and such through gameplay, but you'll be able to buy tokens straight up through the PS Store. |

I played the Japanese original, it was ok to play. J-players were rude though. Hopefully this will do ok.
