Episode 1

Looks like another isekai to add to the list, I think number 6 if you count Demon School. I liked the first episode, I saw it referred to as ironically average, but even that feels better compared to some bad ones. I do think that it could have done without the boob jokes, and a scene/joke about possible child rape, or even the woman wanting a little girl harem. But does it make me bad if I still laughed a bit to that last one, especially the embarrassed look of her goons?

Anyway, I kind of like Mile, and she feels exactly why I thought that the male character from Cheat Magician should have been removed from the show, a girl being the fantasy protagonist of an isekai. Maybe a touch of thinking of Endro too, an all girls adventurer party, and I hope it stays kind of pure like that one too. I can be up for some cute and silly.

Episode 5

Backstories episode, and we got them all in one. Had heard that the show started a bit after the source material, and I guess it was just so we could have a more consistent fun atmosphere.

Reina has lost her family twice to bandits that attack traders, super sad. Pauline is on a quest of revenge against the corrupt merchant and or noble that killed her father, kind of scary. Mavis is a kind of nice one about her just wanting to prove her father and elder brothers wrong who treated her with girl gloves. And Mile is a whole lot of ups and downs, the best part being her trying to play the part of a goddess as to end a situation without bloodshed, which did not just blow over.

Also, the nanomachines cat is confirmed as a combination of Pikachu and Kero-chan, although apparently took 100 tries to get it cute enough.

Episode 12 (finale)

An adventure continues ending, where Mile has decided to look into something that she is not sure about. I liked it, a continuation at some point might be nice. I liked the show in general. I mentioned with the first episode that it reminded me of Endro, and I stand by that a bit. It is kind of like part of that cute girls do X sort of thing, but I don't thing it is reliant on the girls being cute, rather girls going on adventures. A group of friends not held back by just saying girls need protection. I think that the best parts were ones that let them be their goody selves, without any male pandering tropes, that Pauline is money focused and can be cut throat, Mavis can be gallant but is also a bit of a dork, and Reina can be stubborn but also attentive in listening to others and keep things on track. Boosted even further when we have their history that Reina has seen a lot of harm and takes a very hard line against banditry, Pauline wants to take control to be able to get revenge against people who destroyed her family's life, not wanting to put it all on her mother, and Pauline is not terribly dramatic but wants to prove herself to the men of her family that see her mostly in need of protection.

Mile is in a corner of her own as the heroine by also having plenty of personality, filling out geek and a girl while with overpowered ability, having her feel like she could embarrass herself through her geekiness. The boob jokes though, unless I don't understand normal Japanese girl interaction, they just felt out of place. Oh, but I do have a favourite part in the show it was the wyvern episode. I found it funny with them failing against it, Mile accidentally beating it by using one of them as a projectile rather than the actual plan, and the aftermath. I found it greatly humorous where the old guy tried to talk them down, making the wyvern look helpless, but at that point the girls were so done and were more in it for the revenge.

This show also had my favourite OP of the season, maybe part of it was the "waho waha", but I like to think of it as evidence of good presentation the show had as a whole, that other shows might try similar but kind of just fail. Rating the show I will give a Good (7/10), not really amazing, there is probably room in areas to improve, but I sure enjoyed it.

"Waho waha" is definitely the highlight of the very catchy opening song!

It had a lot of things going for it, and yes, I loved the humor in wyvern episode in particular though (my favorite was Mile being stubborn on how the wyvern should be called), but all in all it fell victim for the usual stuff: low production values, and thanks to the novel advertising nature, the story never even thought about going anywhere near a conclusion.
These series always feel like taste testing a few ingredients for a giant cake, but never see it being finished, much less tasting the final product.
