Always, always nice to see media figures (as big or small as Aoki is) come out of the closet. I know when I came out as trans fem (er...I need to get my user name here changed to JulieYBM) it was really tough and still is tough with family and some in real life folks. Hell, just finding a job is a nightmare (especially since I don't pass) so I am very happy to see that Aoki did not lose work as a result of simply being himself.

I will not lie, it is difficult for me to associate Asuka with trans male seiyuu, but this is not my business.

I believe that only a person himself can determine his life and its rules, therefore, if this makes him happy, then there should not be any problems. I hope that Bamco’s support for this will be important for all Japanese young people who are afraid to come out as trans people.

I think that's really cool that his agency allowed him to come out. Really shows that Japan is changing, even if it's slowly.

Since he's a public figure, this is good, as it will help others who are in similar situations feel like they're not alone.

I did not understand only one thing. He was in a relationship with a girl and considered himself a lesbian, but thought about attracting to him as a girl only when he was invited to go out with a boy?

Did I understand the sequence of post correctly?

Good for him. Now let's hope LGBTQA+ issues become easier to deal with in Japan, since they're still very, er, medieval about it.

To be fair, they only have one minor recurring VA role that's mostly been regulated to the Idolmaster gacha these days. They've primarily been a YouTuber and fashion designer for the past few years. If they were a regularly scheduled popular seiyuu it would be a much different situations and I could see their agency cracking down on it since it would affect their career and popularity.

I can't replicate this myself, you may want to ask in the Feedback or Technical Questions forum.

I think whatever code handles the title formatting is trying to read the @ in Idolm@ster as an email address Laughing
