Which one are you talking about? There are two series in this article.

Well, I assume you meant Yesterday wo Utatte and if that's the case, I completely agree.

The series will have 12 television episodes, plus an additional six episodes that will only be available via streaming.

So that means Crunchyroll may not get another six episodes of Yesterday in it?

No, it is not. It is just an overrated, simple rom-com.

I think they're extras, I saw 4 extras of chapter 1 to 4. The duration is between 1 to 2 minutes for each other.

Wow a 2nd season of a show has had more time to flesh out the characters versus a 5 episode(so far) show, who would have thought.

Overrated? Well of course someone will use that argument, it being the best show of the season. So far Yesterday doesn't have much going for it. The characters are so bland and boring, the first episode was really good but then the following two episodes were the complete opposite, but it has started to pick back up.

The first 5 episodes of Kaguya's first season were a lot better, then Yesterdays first 5 episodes. Hell, Yesterday literally wasted an entire episode on some side character, the one with the paperclip in his ear. In Episode 5, Minato, an actually appealing character shows up, but now even he's gone. Going off of episode reviews for Episode 5, people are really starting to dislike Rikuo and it's only episode 5.

Or perhaps we can agree that people's opinions of AOTS are subjective and not objective? That would be swell Smile

Anyways, this is really good news for Yesterday and Arte, so I'm happy.

Wow... you guys really love to compare apples to oranges ...

And you, SP, should be aware that Yesterday is based on a 11-volume manga which ran between 1999-2017 and has thus much deeper characterization than what you may think it has. Patience is a virtue. If you don't have this or want instant gratification, then yes, stay with the flashy romcom.

Not, those extras are bônus exclusive for the Japanese Streaming, there will be 6 of those shorts.
The actual series is 18 episode. Not 12, 18. It's just divided because of the industry standard of 12 for each season. The series was planed for these 18 episodes.

So you are saying that a patchwork of skits with extremely unrealistic characterization that is only empowered by cuteness is the best anime of the season... Yeah, this might be the case for people who are crazy about anything popular. You probably think No game no life is one of the greatest anime of all time lol.
