Actually Hiroaki Sakurai is directing the show

Chiaki Kon had stepped down from her position as director for reasons unknown

This is awesome. Maybe the panic over the virus is dying down a little bit (especially since Japan - like South Korea before it - has been flattening their curve very well after a slow response by Prime Minister Abe).

I hope the Jewelpet characters make an appearance in a future episode. That would be a real treat for fans of that franchise, especially since the recent film that was supposed to be released back in February got postponed indefinitely.
