Sorry to disappoint you, but that isn't her. She does look a little like spoiler[Mai], though, I'll give you that. Wow, this is the longest any of my pictures as lasted. 14.5 hours as of this post, and only one (albeit incorrect) guess. I guess it's time for a hint. Hint 1: spoiler[Voiced by Sakiko Tamagawa; she appears only in the 1995 OAV follow-up to the 1994 TV series. Both have seen a US release.] |

Yes, nothing can be done now, and I'm not accusing you of anything Jedi General because it's your pic, you can do absolutely whatever you want with it.
I was just pointing out that sometimes the "hints" aren't necessarily a good thing. Maybe to you 14 hours was a long time especially since you said your other pics were guessed way faster. But we do have 2 days per pic to guess it, and since a lot of forum users log in about once a day, I think it's reasonable to wait 24 hours to post up additional hints (that you didn't provide initially along with your picture). Again though I hope you don't take my words the wrong way, I'm just trying to point something out for the thread's general gain. Also, and I'm not making this statement towards you Jedi General, but I've noticed for some time that this thread has started leaning towards hints to make characters guessable. I think that's okay to some extent, but if it gets to the point where the pics are getting harder and harder but the hints are getting easier and less-related-to-picture-analyzing-skill (such as "this character is voiced by XXX seiyuu") then I think that makes this thread less interesting. |

That's why I made the rule regarding spoiler tags for clues. If you don't want to see the clues, then don't look.
Also, I don't think that you can guess who the character is just by giving out the seiyuu's name. What if such seiyuu had a 100 roles? You can't just randomly pick one of his/her roles and make a guess out of that without looking at the pic first. Personally, I don't think that giving hints will make this thread less interesting. If the pics are too hard to guess, then less people would participate. |

This current lull lends weight to the saying: That for every silver lining there is a cloud.
In layman's speak, Furudanuki appears to have stumped us good with an obscure picture, and it has hurt the thread (note: obscure to me, anyway). Only one guess has been posted in what I believe has been nearly thirty-six hours so far. That hurts. Please note that this is not a criticism of Furudanuki. I am just pointing out the effect that picture has caused. Or is my assumption incorrect, and there is another cause? Anyway, I would appreciate another hint, if it is okay. Not that it would help much, since I am so stumped, but it would make me feel better. Thank you. |

The main characters are twin girls.] edit - I'm going to be away from the computer for a bit, so here is the last hint. Hint #4 - spoiler[The character is from a shoujo anime, and also appeared in the sequel - the two series combined add up to 100+ episodes. The seiyuu for this character is certainly no stranger to series with sequels: she has been in about a dozen so far, including all three Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha series.] |
