Usually this advertising copy is provided by a publisher, and wow, "suicide bombers" is so not an accurate term for what the 86s are. But the preview looks awesome. Easily my most-anticipated title of the season. |

So, split-cour, my immediate assumption is they'll be adapting volumes 1-6 while the first cour is volumes 1-3. I hear dialogue that I believe is from later in the first novel, which tells me that would probably be around the mid-point for the first cour unless they've already recorded everything.
I hope being split means the production runs smoothly, which is important for such a major and tentpole anime.
Safe assumption is likely Funimation for sure because of Aniplex, but they might want to promote this across multiple platforms so it could still be on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and HIDIVE. |
