Neat. I guess they chose these songs to reinforce cliffhangers considering how creepy this series can get.

I don't think I've seen an anime do that many different songs. A different one for a pivotal episode, or the same song sung by a different cast member each time, sure, but a different one per episode is a new one on me.

Yeah, Dorohedoro had few endings, but all of them were made by (K) NoW_NAME. This is way more ambitious.

The only other anime I remember went kinda far with different songs is Mushoku Tensei.

I've heard various unconfirmed rumors that Chainsaw Man season 1 only has one cour, I guess having 12 endings indirectly proves it?
That being said, with how drop-dead gorgeous the visuals are (and how overworked the Mappa staff are), I am absolutely willing to wait if the show is indeed taking breaks
PS: Personally, I am most excited for Eve, Aimer, TK and Vaundy's music offerings, they would be great

It has been done before, like Seraphim Call in 1999 & the Shonan Bakusozoku OVAs, but it is extremely rare to see happen.

Highschool of the Dead also, but all were from Maon Kurosaki.

Kind of sad DEVIL IN YOUR HEART by SiM won't be done, considering the lyrics REALLY feel like they were made from the manga, but I love maximum, no complaints there.

It will likely be split up between two 12-episode seasons, like how most TV anime gets made nowadays.
