I know no one but me cares about this, but Hana no Asuka-gumi is way more than one series and an OVA.
It went 33 volumes, and a novel in the original run. And 2 OVAs. Then it had a live action movie (which was so bad...) and a 2-season television series. Then it came back as New Hana no Asuka-gumi in the 00s. And another live action movie, Hana no Asuka-gumi NEO - starring Takaguchi-sensei's daughter as Asuka. It was great. Then it came back again in the 2010's with Hana No Asuka-gumi BS (Black School). Now it is running again as Hana no Asuka-gumi Infinity (I've read to V6, I think it's at V9 now.) And yes, I really want to see a new live-action series, thank you. I have a category on Okazu for this obsession, if anyone cares to read about this complicated and, apparently eternal, series. Under Series on the Categories drop-down. I've also done a video about gang girl series and Yuri on Yuri Studio on Youtube that discusses this series, because this is series is my particular obsession.
