No franchise stays dormant nowadays, but considering the manga is still ongoing, I wonder how far this will adapt?

If this leads to the manga being rescue licensed, it will all be worth it.

mal: The manga is open-ended, so no point in bringing it back.

Super exciting. I hope it's an adaptation of the OG manga going through the 2011 continuation.

The manga still being ongoing doesn't matter in this case, since the manga should've ended with Perfect Origin anyways.

It's almost funny how when Discotek licenses an old but popular anime a remake/reboot/sequel is not far behind. See Urusei Yatsura, Shamen King and now Kinnkuman for examples.

4Kids was going wild with the names. Still crazy to me some of the name changes and Dik Dik van Dik is a crazy one. The dude's name was just Gazelleman.

Also as a serious answer to the question, which I'm not sure you wanted, no. They just kinda treat the Kinnikuman Nisei stuff like apocrypha.

But if we did that, then we wouldn't *current arc Kinnikuman spoilers* spoiler[get to Geronimo's first on page win chronologically since like Sunshine when Geronimo was still human. His chojin record in one on ones was abysmal, and he finally got a win recently. ]

I hope they animate the new story arcs. I don't want a reboot. Try to get the surviving voice actors back.

As somebody who watched Ultimate Muscle, this hits me in the nostalgia.

The Canuckler was also genius.

So what you’re saying is there’s hope for Capcom to finally make Viewtiful Joe 3?

How unexpected. I could almost see Netflix give this the Shaman King treatment where they get as many Ultimate Muscle VAs back as possible but do it uncut this time.

Great news! I wish that they animate the remaining ongoing manga chapters and make it at least 26 episodes!
