I highly recommend the live action version, its a near perfect adaptation with the only thing being scaled down by budget being the size of crowds at festivals, Chinese scenes are done well (and there is a spinoff with Guan Yu and Zhang Fei coming to the future as well). Chitty Chitty Bang Bang does make a cameo appearance as well 3/4 of the way through with a performance from the real band.

Where can I watch it? I'm interested in seeing it after what you said.

I haven't seen the show before so I don't know what exactly to expect, but Ray as the lead has me very interested! He's an extremely talented actor and singer! I'm also happy to see Riona is part of the cast.
