I loved the game when it came out, but these DLC characters are pretty bad. Never ever heard of this guy.

Yeah, this is stretching it if they are selling a character from a mobile game. I thought it was cool that the Kakarot game had a string a sidequests that culminated in what turned out to be a crossover with Xenoverse, but that was part of the game as is. Maybe the game had enough characters if this is where they're pulling new ones.

*cut to Bandai Namco headquarters where they're pouring over every piece of Dragon Ball media ever trying to find some form of Goku or Vegeta that Toriyama doodled on a piece of notebook paper that was scrapped at some point.*

Thing is, there are still several characters from Tenkaichi 3 that are not in Sparking Zero. Not the biggest names of course, but in contrast to generic saiyan whatshisname, I'd actually pay money to play them.

If only. They haven't actually bothered doing much more than palette-swaps of the old manga transformations. At least until Super Hero, which gave us Gohan's new form which is... just slapping his old SSJ2 hair on his adult body and scaling it up with no regard to the different proportions.
