In other word, this will be the first time after 36 years (the last time Queen Millennia was broadcasted in the US was back in 1986), we're getting an official uncut and unaltered version of this show. Good to see for any old school fan, or anyone that first watch this back in 1986. |

I remember watching this one fansubbed and liking it. I vastly prefer the movie version, but this is still a treat.

No, it's an alternate retelling (according to ANN's encyclopedia and Wikipedia) like in the same manner that Macross: Do you Remember Love? is a retelling of the original TV series. |

Curious how this will look compared to the KSM German Blu-ray since they're the ones who paid Toei to get the film prints out for that remaster.

Huh, seems like something that should have been licensed and released in English at some point or another. I gather Matsumoto's works haven't been the biggest sellers in the US, but far more marginal works made it over. |

Well, it's not in my place if an anime's alternate retelling version should be license for US release or not. I'm just glad to see the original TV series is getting an official re-releases (in it's uncut and unaltered version) in the US after it's last US broadcast some 30+ years ago. |
