It's 2025 and somehow Comic Sans is being used for typesetting. Why is Gundam manga forever cursed for official releases?

Gundam Wing Endless Waltz is still one of my favorite anime movies so really cool it will be in US theaters for the first time.

The translation also has some obvious errors in it and the formatting is entirely left-justified for some reason. So just a low effort all around

Wow, that promotional video looks amazing. I sure hope this is a teaser for something bigger, because leaving it at that would be a crime!

Cool, not a big fan of Wing, I like the first 13 episodes, and the last 10, but not really the rest of it. But I do love Endless Waltz as it cuts Wing down to what I like about the show, so I'm gonna have to check this out in theaters.

Maybe? We didn't get too much for Mobile Fighter G's anniversary last year. A sequel novel series that still hasn't been translated and some artwork, models and figures here and there. It seems way more is being done with Wing since we have this promo, a translated manga, a $300 range Heero Yui and Releena statue update / re-release and Heero is getting his own S.H. Figure Arts figure.

The promo does show Heero Yui's father Odin Lowe that was featured heavily in flashbacks of Frozen Tear Drop. So maybe there's something else in the works.

I've had my suspicions for a while that the upcoming Hollywood Gundam movie will be based on Gundam Wing, but don't know for certain. Maybe that will get confirmed this year. Who knows.

Wing is a pretty big deal for introducing a lot of Westerners to Gundam. But Mobile Fighter G is also a big deal since it was the first alternate timeline. If it completely bombed they may have given up or delayed the concept entirely and all we'd get is Universal Century. So I wish they did more for Mobile Fighter G.

I'd be shocked if they do much of anything for X's anniversary. Which kind of blows since if you liked Wing, it's probably the most Wing-fan friendly series following 00. Recommend that if you're a Wing fan you check it out if you haven't.

Ah OK, nice to see Gundam Wings: Endless Waltz getting a theatrical re-releases for the US market. I'm sure there are Toonami kids back in the old days that would love/like to re-watch Endless Waltz again.

Watching that promo video makes me realize just how much I miss the look of cel-shaded animation.

yeah Wing is hit or miss as theres a lot of effective "filler" that just doesn't mix w/ the feel of the rest of the episodes.

EW though mixes the action with the build up dialog lot better (as its a movie not a series)

Wasnt Sunrise supposed to become Bandai Namco animation or some other terrible name? I'm not complaining but I am tired of waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I think it's become Bandai Namco Filmworks & Bandai Namco Pictures, though Sunrise still does technically exist it's more of a inter-company subsidiary.

Sunrise is now just a brand:

Quote:
What will be once known as Sunrise is merging with BANDAI NAMCO Rights Marketing, a division of Bandai Namco Arts who works on the video side of Bandai Namco Holdings to become Bandai Namco Filmworks. The "Sunrise" brand may continue past this date, but the company and all its assets will come under the new umbrella.

Well that's a happy ending because I didn't like any of the other names other than Sunrise and as long as the name is alive and actual quality doesnt suffer fine by me.
