I ever wonder why they're only complaining about My Dressed-Up Darling's fanservice and other series with that kind of stuffs and yet they're silenced on this abysmal show.

My interpretation was that a species that would produce Rent-A-Girlfriend deserves oblivion. Any truth to the accusation that the anime is funded by the real world girlfriend rental industry? |

The show is financed through a standard model used in the anime industry, which involves a "production committee". This committee is a group of companies that pool their money together to cover the costs of creating and promoting the anime. That means that this is not funded by the real-life rent-a-girlfriend industry. |

This thread just reminds me that I'll never not be confused over just how weird people get over Rent-A-Girlfriend, when it's literally just an ordinary shonen rom-com.
I don't understand the anime fan community... Anyway, I've been keeping up with the show. Been enjoying the current season. Will look forward to the continuation next year! |

I didn't love the current season but I'm not surprised by this at all...though I can't wait to see anime onlies reaction to that scene being animated.
It's probably too much to hope they'll try to get Lizzie Freeman and Aleks Le back to dub Chizuru and Kazuya, huh? |
