I unironically love it when two reviewers have completely opposite views on a work. A divisive work usually has something unique or interesting about it, even if that unique thing doesn't necessarily mean the work is good. But either way, that factor already puts it in a higher category in my eyes than something bland or "safe." Even if it's not good, it'll be interesting.
That said, this type of story seems totally up my alley, even though I can absolutely see why it's not for everyone. I've always loved the whole "dark-cute" aesthetic. |

The summary of I Love Amy marks it as 8+ here. I'm guessing that's incorrect based on the dark content described?
