I've been enjoying my time with it but yeah if you aren't an artist (I am not) it can be a hard recommend. A simple QR code scan for designs of mii's would go far for this game let alone the other things you can design. Tomodachishare has been a real friend to me. There is also another site I would recommend here but it has many imitators at the moment so I won't share at the moment until those are gone but with it's help I managed to make a Gardevoir as a pet and put a local soda in game with great results. The main issue of the game is you have to "work" to enjoy it to it's max.

I enjoyed the previous Tomodachi Life game on the 3DS for its offbeat sense of humour, and I'm now enjoying Living the Dream even more, especially with the expanded customization options compared to the previous game.
My only real gripe with the game so far is that I wish there were more Goods to give your Miis when their happiness levels up (i.e. the guitar, the bubble blower, the toy sword, etc.) so you can see them do more kinds of activities by themselves and with each other, though I guess that's somewhat balanced out with the different kinds of books and Switch games you can also give them. |
