With Kubo doing the general supervision of the show, I'm hoping they fill in some of the gaps that the manga left.
Would be amazing to get some of the LN's adapted into a film or TV series too.

Well we know there’s going to have to be a lot of added material in this season, since they’ve been pretty consistently adapting 4 chapters per episode, even with all of the additions, and there’s only around 2 volumes left to adapt, they really only have enough material for 6 or 7 episodes which means that roughly half of the season is going to be new. So I'm pretty excited.
