Wow, that's the first time I've heard about them actually remaking one of the original films. I wonder how that will turn out especially since there's different VAs than from the original movie.

That doesn't make a lick of difference. Especially if you haven't seen the original.  If you have? Oh well, there's nothing you can do about it, ya know?
I hope they do justice to the original. It seems remakes are just reasons to not invest in new scripts, but they seem to edit the script more than the original did.
