This game annoyed me to no end.
The style is nice and it has the potential to be interesting.

Could be interesting. Who did the animation for the in-game cut scenes?

I just don't get it. I guess if there's a bunch of riddles in the manga, like, turn the page to find the answer, that'd work, but anime? Will it pause to give you time to think like those preschool shows?

I assume they'll incorporate the puzzles in some way, because as much as I loved that game, the characters are pretty boring and undeveloped and the plot is just there as an excuse to do a bunch of puzzles. I guess they could do a murder mystery type plot without any riddles (as in, using typical mystery story type puzzles as opposed to the blatant "solve this puzzle" like the game was) and it might work, but as I said, boring undeveloped characters.

It makes sense. It sold close to 300,000 copies in its first week. I can't wait for Level-5's next game, Ninokuni: The Another World.

I loved the first game, so I was actually pretty excited about this news. ^^

I can't wait for the other games to get localized as well.
