I'm looking for good anime series that are playing for the moment, to be clear they aren't finished yet and actually are on television. I know Inu Yasha isn't bad, but there are already more then 100 episodes and that's difficult downloading them starting from zero. Not more then about 15 or 20 episodes, so I can catch up easily and then download 1 or 2 episodes a week.

Currently I'm following Samurai Champloo, Samurai 7 and thinking about Monster.

Which other new series can you recommand ?

There are a few of romance-comedies this season that are still not licensed:

DearS
Girls Bravo
Aishiteruze Baby
Maria-sama ga Miteru ~Haru~ <- More Drama Based

A lot of shows this season have been licensed, some before even airing.

Also:
Soukyuu no Fafner
Ragnarok The Animation

BTW:
Samurai Champloo is Licensed

It was licensed either before it started airing in Japan, or very shortly after. I can't remember which. Many groups are still subbing Champloo though.

Yeah, I think Geneon snagged Champloo and Tenjou Tenge before they even aired.

Naruto is a fun series that is still being released in Japan, but if you were reluctant to download Inu-yasha due to its lenght I'm not sure how enthusiastic you'll be over downloading Naruto.

97 episodes and counting.
