Good luck with attempting to suck less, Adult Swim, but I'm still planning to cancel my TV subscription this week. With a lack of good anime on the airwaves (and the live-action shows that I watch being available on the Internet, that's another key point), $50 a month is too much to pay for so little. If Cartoon Network were still playing a healthy roster of good shows I would probably be able to justify the monthly bill, so it seems that CN has directly cost my satellite provider a customer.

It's due to those fansubs and illegal streaming that may have killed off anime on TV. And now that Hulu and Joost and youtube are going legit,it's getting bleak. At least there still showing anime on AS at least. Also i'm not susprised they started doing one new epsiode of bleach now. They would've runned out of new epsiodes if they kept doing that which would've killed off any remaining Viewers for AS. At least Moribito will be back on in August at least which is a good thing but it won't be that successful cause the slow paced feeling won't attract people who want action based series like bleach and code geass.
If they want AS to come back with a vengance, they should bring naruto shippuden to AS.
But better yet, they should announce dub versions of FMA:Brotherhood for AS.That would really have people extatic.
Am I wrong???

Actually, I have a feeling that [as] would go after dubbed versions of FMA:B. Why? Vic Mignogna. If it WAS just a fluke that the Vic-voiced Ikkaku pulled in massive ratings for Bleach unseen since 2007, then we all know who is the culprit, and if he's voicing Ed again in FMA:B, well then anime just might climb above 500k for the first time in 2 years!
Say what you want about him; the truth is he does have a following especially amongst 18-34 women, which are still apparently in [as] target demographic.

for anyone whp thinks adult swim is mismanaged or that they are acting foolish with their choice of programming all I have to say is THE PJ'S!
I think the future of television is going to be video on demand. One more way to show how Howard Stern is way ahead of his time. Right now the anime network just has a free vod channel, but if they offered a subscription based VOD for 10.99 a month or so I would sign up for it right away. I actually was paying for it on sprint tv but the programming just wasnt good enough to continue, but they just started on my cable system here with funimation and they have some pretty good shows. If they would do a subscription based channel so they could afford the rights for shows like moribito, blood plus, d gray man etc etc then I think they would do great. They could increase sales by offering it through their website as well. This is the way everything is moving with downloadable services and ISP's upgrading to docsis 3.0 and ffering speeds capable of downloading a 30 minute show in under 10 minutes.
