Wow, Sentai really didn't want to wait on this announcement, huh?
Good to finally see a date for Kids on the Slope. Now let's just hope it didn't get Foster-ized. They already TURNED DOWN Steve Blum for the show, so already my hopes for the dub aren't terribly high. 
Also it's a shame that Natsuyuki Rendezvous didn't get a dub, although I wasn't fully expecting it to. Considering it got a decent bit of buzz last year, I figured Sentai might want to spring for a BD. Guess not, though. And the K-ON! movie will be mine. OH YES. IT WILL BE MINE. 
Yeah, pretty strong month overall. The only way FUNimation could beat it is if they finally released Roberta's Blood Trail. |

Kids on the Slope has a release date. YES. Preordering that one right now! And I'd completely missed the licensing announcement for Natsuyuki Rendezvous so that was a nice surprise for me.
Still can't believe that they got Love Love? as well. So bad. |

He's too big these days to try to avoid the S.A.G. and S23 isn't going to pay for S.A.G. labor, or a trip to Texas, or to do recording in SoCal. Unfortunate but not unexpected. Oh, and day 1 on Kids on the Slope. |

I figure it was either that, or they had already cast the dub and didn't have any good parts left to offer him. 
Those are the only reasons I can figure, because otherwise you DON'T SAY NO TO STEVE BLUM.

May will be another Sentai month for me. K-On Movie and Kids on the Slope on Blu-Ray are both buys for me.
I am excited to know how the dub for Kids on the Slope is going to turn out. Surprised that Sentai got this out this early though. |

Son of a bitch Sentai, where the hell is Another? Yes, the blu ray set is coming out in Japan at the end of March, but the last of the blu ray singles was released at the end of August last year so even with Kadokawa being C***S this long a wait is absurd.
The only other things I am looking forward to this year from Sentai (hopefully....) are Mysterious girlfriend x and To love ru darkness. |

Almost all of my wants at once. It's a shame that Natsuyuki Randezvous won't receive the blu-ray treatment, but I suspected as much. (Josei anime about a widow unable to let go of her past love? Da heck? Completely unsellable, even if it made me cry harder than anything else.) Nevertheless, I'll still get the DVD, along with the blu-rays for Kids on the Slope, Colorful, and K-ON! The Movie, though I can wait on the last one seeing as I don't own anything of the actual show. I'm very interested in seeing the interviews with Shinichiro Watanabe and Yoko Kanno for Kids on the Slope though. The interview with the drummer will probably be nice too.
