What do you think is the worst anime you have ever seen? Also,
put why you think it is downright horrid. In my opinion,it is
Yu-GI-Oh!,because of the overall depth it lacks. Also,it's a
25-minute commercial for the cards, which is a horrid game in it's own right.Bleah!

I don't think there's such thing as the worst. but Galgo 13: the Professional was pretty stupid. mostly what it was was a naked chick swimming and riding a horse and stuff, I thoght it was gonna be something like Leon:The Professional but it was FAR from it.
then there's all the US mainstrem stuff, mindless crap that kids don't have to think to watch.

One word: Tekken
I don't think I need to explain how bad it is. *Bangs head against a piano*

Hmm... I haven't seen anyth... wadaminite...
Except the "Street Fighter" series (so I've heard), and the "Vampire Hunter: NightWarriors Revenge" (The Japanese-produced one, not the lousy US-produced one), almost all videogame based anime range from lousy to godawful. Gowazer (sp.) Voltage Fighter is pretty bad. Not much of a plot with lots of skin used to try to keep the viewers interested.

Not easy to answer. With something as immersed in pop culture and with such a wide range of genres and sub-genres as anime, quality is really in the eye of the beholder. I still profess my love for Voltron, but must admit the majority of the writing lacked merit. I boil with rage when I see Pikachu, but even I used to watch episodes when it first came out in the US. Even the vilest crap in the anime universe has some obscure appeal. Back in senior high I used to watch pathetic hentai anime with terrible art, horrid writing, and next to zero erotic value, but would laugh my ass off with all my friends.
I guess I can list a specific few, but I don't really think any of these suck...
WORST DISAPPOINTMENT:
*Wings of Honnemise - Overhyped for me. Expected a masterpiece from what my friends said, but it was a bit too boring. I still really liked it though. Was interesting and all.
WORST FEATURE LENGTH RENTAL:
*Chinese Ghost Story - I guess it looked nice and all. I don't know. I just wasn't interested at all... Not my thing.

Either Grappler Baki or Cyber City Oedo 808, both were pretty bad. Neither one had that much of an interesting plot or for that matter, main characters I wouldn't have enjoyed watching get butchered in the end, IMO.
Though a honorable mention has to go to the Starship Troopers anime, which could have been decent, if the mechs didn't end up fighting enemies that pretty much amounted to jello.

Pokemon, the story was just about battling and nothing more (except kicking the cr*p out of Team Rocket).

Angel Sanctuary is the biggest disappointment to me. The animation was beautiful but apparently whoever made the anime must have just read the first volume of the manga. However, the AS manga is my all time favorite manga.
The absolute worst is some of the stuff that the Starz Action channel airs. Now, don't get me wrong, they do air good stuff occassionally, but how many times can you repeat Grappler Baki and Tekken? I'd have to say that Grappler Baki is the worst thing ever animated. Also, Tenchi GPX is some of the worst crap released. The creators should be publicly flogged. I liked the Tenchi OVA, but after that... ugh. I'm holding out hope for the new OVA but I'm not holding my breath. Also, almost anything with a magical girl sucks, but there are some exceptions like Arjuna. Again, this is just my opinion!

the beginning eps of gasaraki. Those were so freaken boring and random, you dont even know whats going on until after eps 10 or something.
i think the basic idea of pokemon is cool. cut school, go to new places with some friends, party, and even if u are failing school u always have an option of being a trainer which involves no experience or crap.

Aw, why's everyone slamming on Pokemon? It's definitely cute enough and semi-engaging enough to get people's attention for a long time.
Anyway, bad anime... Hm.... Well, as for movies, Barefoot Gen was a disappointment to me when I saw the Streamline dub (no, not a Streamline rant). It just wasn't as dramatic or emotional as I had expected, and at times seemed downright goofy and cheesy. Granted, it portrays history and what not, but artistically, the movie could have done much better. The manga was much better in this case, as it had the emotion needed for a Hiroshima first-hand account.
G Saviour. Holy crap this movie sucked. Live action Gundam with bad actors and unexplained plot does not a good movie make.
Bad series (that I still watched because I'm a sucker):
Magic Knight Rayearth 2. BAD. Cheesy. Horrible. Annoying characters. But I still watched it in a marathon when I should've been studying for finals.
Sailor Moon Super S. The other Sailor Moon series were fine, but this... I felt like banging my head against a desk.
Those Who Hunt Elves. Maybe it's just me, but this series is not funny at all. It's just a string of really stupid jokes and people running around stripping elves.

Oh dear, It's hard for me to decide which is the worst, but I'll give ya a list of the titles that qualify as God-awful,
here goes...
Tekken
Sakura Wars
Agent Aika
Knights of Ramune
Big Wars
Golgo 13
Powerdolls 1 & 2
Dangoih
Dirty Pair Flash (OAV series 2 and 3, the first one was cool though)
801 Airbats (actually I would have to pick that one as the worst)
That's about it, big wastes of cash those were.
One more thing, Aya, Street Fighter II the animated movie was pretty sweet, especially the ChunLi Vs. Vega fight
