I saw it in the bookstore today and noticed something interesting: It's left to right... Was the original actually this way? I know I've seen Japanese copies before, but I cannot recall... I'm just curious as to WHY it's been flipped, if so? Does Vertical do this with all their series? Just a little upset that it's going back to that format once again, if the original wasn't (and I don't see why it would be either). Even if it is a children's title, all children's manga are all in the original format nowadays.

I think it came up in Lissa's review a little while back, animenewsnetwork.com/review/chi-sweet-home/gn-1, and she said that it was just done to appeal to a wider audience. As for whether or not all of their series are flipped, I just bought volumes 1 and 2 of Twin Spica today, and they are unflipped.

Ahhh ok. I'm not a fan of flipping the series, not because of being a purist fan, but as an OCD person, who sees all the other manga I own as being unflipped (and also, I own the second prints of old Viz series since I never did buy their overlarge, flipped one) with this being the only one that isn't. However, I am a big fan of Chi, so I do plan on picking them up eventually anyhow.
