would love to go to an anime event in the uk, is there a list anywhere of where and whens?

AyaCon, KitaCon and the MCM Expo spring to mind. The "Scotland Loves Anime" festival shall be beginning shortly as well.

I used a highly familiar search engine to uncover this more complete schedule of events, though it is nevertheless wise to be aware of local discussion on such matters additionally.
