A blogger at http://www.broccolibooks.com/sp_blog/ mentioned Bandai dubbing an anime called "E***** S****". Oh, and Digi Charat will be overlayed.

For a second there, I thought this might've had something to do with SPT Layzner or Giant Gorg, which Bandai licensed but never released for no official reason. Sad

And, uh...

"We're planning to get voice actors to come in and do the voice overs... but if we can't schedule anyone, we may have to record them ourselves.

Dun, dun, dun!

Maybe it'll be bad (good?) as Jerry Chu's recording of E***** S****."

...I think he's probably referring to Jerry voicing someone himself.

Unless there's some anime with an "E" and an "S" they licensed that nobody's tellin' me about.

The overlays in this case are actually necessary.

Hm.. from the looks of things (and looking through then Encyclopedia), I'm going to guess it's "EUREKA SEVEN," though I've never seen it. But looking at the Encyclopedia entry, that's a cool looking mech..

Newtype mentioned it as a joint production with Bandai America last month.
(I may be wrong I don't remember the article very well)

As far as I can tell, this was the first series to do the different opening credits each week technique. I too love the series, and am planning on marathoning the laser discs sometime soon. I only wish the series didn't get canned so early on.
