Actually, I'm impressed. This is one of the few cases where the CGI actually looks like modern, computer-colored 2D animation.
Now, I don't particularly like modern, computer-colored 2D animation, but at least they're trying to match 2D. It also looks like they're consciously mimicking 2D cliches, which is not necessarily a bad idea. |
