You think Noir is CN ready?

After watching the first 4 episodes of Noir, I've noticed that there is no graphic violence in it. I mean, when people get shot there is no blood, no bulletholes, no anything - they just groan and fall down. Now, I'm not saying I don't like Noir (I'm definitely digging this show) although I wish they showed a little bit more in the violence department (geez, never though I'd hear myself say that about an anime). Now as far as stepping up the violence, I don't mean "Golgo-13-style", just a little bit of blood will do just fine. Also I noticed that there is no nudity (which actually, I don't mind at all, especially since both assasins wear short skirts at times) or foul langauge (I might be wrong on the langauge though, but I don't remember any profanities).
So with all that in mind, you think CN should make a move for this series? Maybe an Adult Swim title? Or does the series step into any of the "Toonami no-nos" later on?

YES. Noir would go pretty much uncut on CN...the only edit being the purification ceremony.

Noir is the same as .hack//SIGN in terms of content, no blood, no hard language etc. .h//S has been running uncut (from the first 4 episodes theyve shown).

anyhow, its not going to happen becuase ADV owns it. they'll put it on their Anime Network. its possible to show up on CN, but if it ever does (which im 100% sure that it wont), it'll be like how Eva and Nadesico did on CN (that is, only for 2 or 3 episodes)

i started watching this show last night, and i love it. i can't imagine what they would cut out. i mean it's the intrigue that keeps you watching, not the gunplay. if they can put Trigun on, they should defintely have no problem with this.

I think it could be worked out, if Cartoon Network really wanted it. I do think it would probably have to go on Adult Swim though, even if the violence and language is pretty tame. I just don't think a show about assassinations would sit well with afternoon viewers and their parents.

Will it actually happen? I doubt it. It doesn't have as much of a following as most of the other CN anime titles, and they don't have much of a history with ADV yet. But anything is possible.

Yes, after seeing the first 16 eps (need to watch the rest soon!!), I have to say itr would work. COnsidering the minor violence, and the premise of the show, it could be very popular with the large amount of Bebop fans after CN has run it for about 20 times... the graphics are good, the plot is interesting, the characters are both interesting and badass... it would work very well.
