I already saw From Up On Poppy Hill last year when they played it subtitled at my local arthouse theatre, but since they're dragging their feet on the BD/DVD release somewhat I might go and see it again if they show it again, maybe I could find someone to go with me too (I like going to the cinema both on my own and with other people). Wow it's been a long time since I went to the cinema. That has it's advantages as it can be quite expensive to the point where I can purchase at least 2 cours of anime series secondhand for the same price if it's an older release, but I've missed out on a lot of animated films I wanted to see at the cinema this and last year, though on the other hand I did go up to London in the summer and see 3 anime films that will probably never play at any of the local cinemas (not mainstream enough), and I was lucky to be able to do that. I still feel kind of frustrated that in a year when they actually released a bunch of American animated films I wanted to see I didn't vote with my wallet, partly because 3 of them came out in a short space of time (due to all being halloween themed), so I needed more money and time to go and see them all.
