After JManga's closure I'm not sure if this site could make it unless their plans include PDF downloads of some form.

Funny how they state they can't distribute hentai works and yet have titles with such lovely names as "Our XXX Secret" and "Deadline ASS-BEATING".

Okay, I actually checked out the site and it's kind of promising in a way. It doesn't let you download anything but most of the scanlations are free and user provided, but this could lead to some discrepancies in translation if one user decides not to romanize things properly. Also, the Facebook page has quite the fanbase at 400,000+ likes. It could work out but I'm still worried it could tank.

Do you know what "Our XXX Secret" is about even? :/ Because it's not porn/hentai in the least. It's 「僕と彼女のXXX」, about a girl and a guy who switch bodies. And what dialect of English do you speak where an 'ass beating' is sexual...? MR definitely has some things that make you go 'buh?' with the discrepancy between their supposedly not offering porn and the actual titles available, but I don't think those two qualify... |

Keep in mind the article states it's still in the Beta phase. I feel like the way they're handle it is at least a great step in the right direction.

Sorry, anything with "XXX" in it in the English language typically qualifies for porn, which is probably why xxxHOLIC never got onto Cartoon Network. And "Deadline ASS-BEATING"...well, there are some weird fetishes out there. |

Hm, that series got its official English translation finished between Tokyopop & JManga under the name "Your and My Secret", though of course it's available through neither now. Curious if the JP publisher might be putting that translation up on MR... |
