Someone told me that Borders had some "exclusive" Naruto Mangas. Anyone know about this?

No press releases on Viz's homepage about Borders exclusives. (Bandai is doing the video & card games and Hot Topic is doing apparel and accessories.)
I'd suggest calling your local Borders and asking them.

He or she may be talking about the artbook that Borders has put in all of its stores. It is a Naruto artbook left untranslated that the Borders stores directly imported from Japan.

In Rightstuf.com's Fall 2005 catalog, there was an ad for a Naruto manga boxset that would hold six volumes I think, and it includes the first volume as well as a calendar? I'm not sure I'm reading it correctly. It doesn't say anything about being Borders exclusive, probably because rightstuf's an online retailer.

There was a big Naruto aisle promo stand full of Naruto manga and plugging the anime but I didn't see anything "exclusive" about them.

Well I went to a Borders on yesterday, and there were new copies of Naruto with bookmarks, with Naruto artwork. Maybe that's what you're talking about. Correct me if I'm wrong.
