Ah, that's why Discotek Media couldn't pick up Casshern.

SH** YES, CASSHERN!!

Been meaning to watch Casshern and Gatchaman for a long time now. At last, I can do so.

Sentai Filmworks, you never disappoint. Except for when you hire Steven Foster for a dub. I will never forgive you for what he did to Clanand. Ever. *hiss*

As much as I enjoyed the Casshern OVA and recent series, I just have no interest in the old hokey anime.

Neat. I've been interested in the original Cassern since I watched SINs. Though maybe not enough to buy it. So I hope it's streaming somewhere.

A shame that Discotek was too late in getting it but that's ok because at least it's not for reasons related to Anime SOLS so now that we know who got it, I'm glad to say that I'll be able to own ALL of Casshern now. Very Happy

If they get them now then don't expect them be on Blu-ray or with any HD master because there is no Blu-ray of both shows in Japan yet like there is with the first series.

Interesting. Maybe, after years of waiting, we will finally get a physical release of the Nurse Witch Komugi-Chan Magikarte Z OVAs as a result of this. Wink

Only if Sentai gets into TV deals and merchandising.

I'm just happy someone didn't ridicule me. I don't think you really need a TV/Merchandising deal... Sunrise was even saying they might license out the Aikatsu anime if it got enough popularity. I would rather PR much, much, much more.
