Wow, not even citing Shueisha or the respective authors in the credits? Someone wants a lawsuit.
And it's been awhile since I've seen Naruto, but I'm 99% sure the music playing in the advertisement was lifted directly from the anime. |

That thing is just begging for a law suit, seriously. I mean... god! Oh and yes, that song is from the Naruto OST, the first one, The Raising Fighting Spirit, (I have the whole album on my computer). But man! |

Good Lord, how naive can a company be? Shueisha makes perfectly legal publishers jump through flaming hoops before they allow any reproduction of their materials. And here they think they can take it and walk away with it? It'd be even funnier if it weren't true...

I found the youtube link and tried to look around to see if indeed they had a license to do this. The only thing I saw was that in their news section they admit that these were pre-existing anime characters but gave no reference to their source. They also made it seem that these weren't the only two anime they were using for characters.
Oy.... I hope Viz has a biiiiig legal department |
