Wow . . . wonder why the sudden jump back up? I guess the Be Beautiful line's been doing well for them.

They should be releasing Slayers Super Explosive Demon Story volume 8 first. Leaving Slayers fans at a cliffhanger for a year wasn't nice.
And I hope they have plans on releasing Knight of Aqualord afterwards.

They said at comic-con the manga market was over-saturated so they backed off, but they planned to pick back up in 2006

That's... a pretty big jump. With all the issues of the manga/anime market being oversaturated, is that really a good idea for them to make that kinda move right now?

That is quite a huge jump. If they're looking at 40-70 volumes of manga released a year (I hope they're not talking 40+ new titles), they'd better be good titles, or someone is going under. While I'm eager to see some new releases that may possibly interest me, I'm not too anxious to see anyone else pull an ADV.
