I don't know if this should go here, but I thought it should since Jump Superstars is a manga based fighting game.
I was just thinking how Jump Superstars should see an expansion pack. I mean, didn't they put just over 20 comic properties in the game? I looked on Wikipedia.com under shonen jump and it listed 54 different comic properties under the Jump name. What happened to characters from Sand Land, Beat the Vandal Buster, Whistle, etc. Who else thinks that Nintendo should release an expansion pack or two that includes new levels and new koma including the missed out series?

Yeah thats kind of lame, but my guess would be they just used the ones the seem to be the most popular, then they might make a sequal or two adding more characters, kinda like super smash bros. they started out with the most popular characters, then made a sequal with more and more characters who arent as popularm, and besides what the hell could the kids from whistle do throw a soccer ball at some one.

The theory behind it is that you can only use so many things before it all gets a bit too much. As it stands, it's already got a crapload of fighters and even more supports/helps, so adding more people in wouldn't be a good idea. Also, they're using more-relevant/newer series, though I am dissapointed with the lack of FOTNS and Saint Seiya characters (though I don't think FOTNS counts as Shonen Jump anymore).
An expansion pack probably isn't very likely though, considering they only ever make a giant jump crossover game every five years. A shame though, since I wouldn't have minded a PS2 game

As well as them using Weekly series exclusively, which rules out other recent/relevent Jump titles like Beet the Vandel Buster or Legendz. At least I think Legendz is still relevant. I don't know. It is a shame about FOTNS and Saint Seiya characters though. I would've liked to see some of them in it.

They'd think of something. They found valuable use for Prince of Tennis, Slam Dunk!, and Eyeshield 21 characters. At least I know I use Kaidoh from Prince of Tennis when I can.

Plus, with the addition of more characters, supports, and komas in general, they could risk making it more unbalanced, as well as just junking it up with koma that, while they look different, do pretty much the same thing as other komas (which a few koma already do.) However, you know that if they made a good expansion pack that truely expanded on the game (possibly with an arcade-style progression mode that the game is desprately lacking), I'd be one of the first people to buy it. However, this is assuming that the DS card out right now has support for an expansion pack.
