I'm just curious if anyone has seen this show. If so, do you think that the future portrayed in the show could ever really happen in our lifetimes (next 40 years or less)? No. 2, Did anyone else enjoy having characters with normally proportioned eyes for once???
On a sidenote, feel free to discuss even more aspects of the show besides these. It makes for a more diverse experience

Ya, I've seen the show and I love it. As for your first question, I can see if being a problem sometime in the future. how soon will hit be a problem i don't know, but i think that the problem will be one that we will have to overcome. And I didn't even notice that they had "normally proportioned" eyes until you said something about it. I think it's a great show and i can't wait until the 4th volume is released on tuesday. |

Same here.  I hope more people get a chance to see it. For one it is about as quirky as you get without killing any chance of having a generaly serious show, plus the cgi used is like the cherry on top of what is already a very lipsmacking goood sundae.

This is Planetes. Planetes is an awesome show so far. I've seen the first three discs and it's rapidly becomming one of my all time favorites. It pays attention to actual science, such as physics and orbital mechanics and the future world it presents is entirely possible and believable. The characters are brought to life very well, and the storylines are all dramatic, humorous, and entertaining. All in all I'm loving it. I have to wait until after XMas to pick up the next volume though. |
