I received my Planetes 4 from Amazon.ca. This volume is only a single disc and no jacket. This volume is really outstanding without a jacket over the cover.
The funny thing is that at the back of the cover, it mentions about an extra disc. I am really disappointed with this inconsisitency of packaging. From the picture listed in Amazon.ca, it seems like volume 6 is again a single disc without a jacket - unbelievable. |

I noticed that as well. Beats the heck out of me too, it's just going to look so...wrong next the other three. I didn't buy it yet though because it was on my XMas list and I don't want the hassle of being stuck with doubles.

I'm glad that they fit all the content on one disc. There is no need for a second disc since there is only four episodes, which leaves much room for extras on the DVD. I have a big rant about "bonus discs" for dvds that are not filled to capacity on the thread here animenewsnetwork.com/bbs/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=19965 Bandai is the worst when it comes to "bonus discs" especially the Yukikaze 2 release.

Well, that's good I suppose we won't be losing anything in the transition then at the very least.
