Just a quick question... anyone here still watch KidsWB shows like Pokemon or Yu-gi-oh? I love waking up and watching them because it always wakes me up and gets me active. Anyone else still watch Pokemon or Yu-gi-oh?

Unfortunately I do not currently, because I go to wrestling tournaments on Saturday. And even if I weren't at wrestling, I'd be at the arcade. I can say I used to watch Yugioh, One Piece, Sonic X and Kirby before I started going back to school. The thing is once I stopped, I never got back into it.

Well, if I have a free Saturday I'm usually out late gaming the night before. So when I get up the following morning it's like 12 or something. But when you do watch like you did 10 years ago, it has a pretty nostalgic feeling to it. So if I were to get the chance, I would like to watch those kinds of shows again. Though Pokemon and Yugioh are being taken off WB this fall Sad

I never did in the first place. Like 11 years ago I would try to catch DBZ on at whatever channel it was at like 7 AM, and whatever channel ronin warriors was on. Just a kid and I barley knew what I was watching then. I skipped to toonami later, like 5 years more until adult swim and then a few more until anime on dvds/the internet.

I've watched like 3 episodes of pokemon. I didn't think it was kiddy or anything, I was a kid anyway, but I never got into it.

Yeah, I wish I could get CN and stuff. My house doesn't even have cable, so i would have to settle for Saturday mornings or weekday afternoons. Course there's always the internet. And there's video rental stores too, so I'm okay with that.

I used to watch Pokemon reruns occassionally back when Kid's WB used to have a cartoon block on weekday afternoons, but since they don't anymore and I'm not obssesive with Pokemon enough to watch it every Saturday morning, I don't really keep up with the show anymore. I still do like to watch the older episodes and the movies, though. I used to watch Yugioh a lot, but I don't even watch Yugioh anymore because I prefer to read the manga instead which is uncut and I think the storyline of the Yugioh manga in general is much better than the anime version. I didn't even bother to watch Yugioh GX, either.

I watch a few eppys once and awhile on YTV, however it doesn't thrill me like it used to (well except team rocket, jessie, james and meowth are the bomb!!!). I have found now that I have been an anime fan for quite awhile now, that my tastes have grown tredemously. Things like pokemon (sans teamrocket of course) and Dragonball Z no longer appeal to me. Funny thing is Sailor moon still does, I think I will always love it!!!

Though ocassionaly when I am feeling noglistic I will go searching for some pokemon or put the movies in the VCR.

Not to much anymore
i used to love watching pokemon, DBZ, and heck, I've even watched sailor moon back before i knew what anime was.
maybe its just because of the kind of people around me, but now watching shows like pokemon are almost offensive in a way that i say to myself "how could anyone stand watching this?" of course im sure theres many people besides kids that enjoy those shows.

I used to watch Yu-gi-oh every week on KidsWB. Nowadays I usually sleep to late to watch anything but if I'm lucky I usually get to catch an Avatar episode. It saddens me to watch Pokemon. I hate the fact that im growing older hehe. I used to watch that show when I was like 7...time flies...it's crazy to think how fast time has gone. Sorry to go off-topic. I don't watch Yu-gi-oh anymore because to me GX is a disgrace and there's to many Pokemon nowadays anyway

I agree, in Pokemon the characters learned from their mistakes and found out what they could do to improve. Just like everybody in the real world. I remember watching Pokemon from the very first season, and man, that was a looooooooong time ago.

I used to love getting up early and just watching any cartoon saturday morning... now thanks to college (previously high school) overloading me on the weekdays, Friday is party night so I haven't been awake to watch Saturday morning cartoons since probably my Sophomore High School year.

Do I miss it? Hell yeah.

I just realized that every single job I've had has granted me Saturdays off... or maybe they scheduled me but I just didn't show up.
