So is the final volume out yet? I remember volumes 5 and 6 (and maybe 4) had changes made to their release schedule. According to RightStuf, Remix 6 was to be released last Tuesday, June 13th. I checked out Suncoast and Best Buy only to find the shelves empty of this title.

RightStuf has this release removed from their "Coming Soon" section, in other words they claim it's already out. ANN has it listed as being released in March so I guess I'll ask the people.

Does anyone know when it will be released or have you already received your copy?

The official street date for Cowboy Bebop Remix Vol. #6 was June 13, 2006. The date that the ANN Releases section listed is wrong.

The release dates for the first 4 volumes of Cowboy Bebop Remix are correct, but Bandai pushed back the street dates for the final two volumes. Volume 5 was released on May 9 instead of February 28 as listed on the ANN Releases page. As far as I'm concerned, all 6 volumes of Cowboy Bebop Remix are now available for purchase.

Considering that DeepDiscountDVD sent me a shipping notice for the copy I ordered, it's safe to say it's out now. Very Happy

Okay I don't want to be mean, so I guess I'll thank you for trying to help.

Does anyone actually have the copy of the DVD in front of them or seen them for sale at the store? I know the whole "issue" with the release dates, my question was "Is Volume 6 Out?" I whent to Suncoast and Best Buy and couldn't find a volume 6 on the shelves so I'm wondering if it was pushed back again by Bandai without notice.

So you got a "shipping notice"... do you have the DVD yet? WTF is a shipping notice since it's not safe to assume that everyone knows what that is. Did you pre-order the last volume? I've never pre-ordered anything online so I don't know if these shipping notices only arrive when something is pre-ordered.

A shipping notice, in this instance, is a little email that basically says; "Hey, just letting you know, your order has been shipped out of our warehouse and should be arriving at your house in 3-7 days."

Therefore, DeepDiscountDVD has told DuelLadyS that her copy of Cowboy Bebop is in the mail, which is why it leads her to believe that the DVD is available now.

Sorry- I shop so much online, some of the related terms are just ingrained now.

Anyway, like Shorty said, a Shipping notice means 'in the mail to you right now.' In this case, it's a UPS shipment with a scheduled delivery of 6/20, so I should have it in hand tomorrow night when I get home from work. (I'll let you know.) I didn't pre-order, but I did jump online at midnight right when the pre-order status ran out so I could use a 20% off code.

Have you tried asking your Suncoast/Best Buy about the DVD? Perhaps your specific area's had a shipment issue, or the staff's being lazy and haven't put it on the shelves yet. (I work in retail. It happens.)

In my case, considering the Best Buys in my area, the latter is true. Wink

I thought that when an item was pre-ordered, it was supposed to arrive at your house around the release date... but I my memmory might not be that good since this was back when I used to buy stuff from the "Dragonball Z Store".

I haven't tried asking Best Buy or Suncoast because I had only gone that one day and just forgot to ask... I ended up getting side tracked at Suncoast because I bought the Matrix Collection (all the DVDs + the statue) for only $20. Best Buy staff is not very helpful when it comes to anime. But as previously stated, they tend not to put out anime on their respective street date.

Thanks. I hope to hear from you soon and see if you finally got your copy.

This depends on who and when, and your shipping method when you pre-order... so far I've only pre-ordered anime with Rightstuf.com, and by experience if order about a month-3 weeks before the release date, you acutally get the disc about a week early, and sometimes more. (For example, I got FMA vol. 10+box in the mail Saturday.)

If you don't make that window, you could acutally see a delay. I pre-ordered the Anime Essentials Nadesico vol 3 just a few days in advance, and it took a good month to ship. I guess the first batch went out to the earlier pre-orders.

I see what you mean. Last month I pre-ordered Vol. #1 of This Ugly Yet Beautiful World (which comes out officially on July 4) from TRSI, and just this past weekend I received an e-mail confirmation from them stating that the DVD has been shipped. Considering that this is two weeks before its scheduled street date, needless to say I was taken by surprised. Shocked

There ya go. Now go bug your store clerks, because they're offically holding out on you. Very Happy (apologizes for the photo quality- they were taken with the World's Worst Digital Camera.)

Hehe, I have the same piggy bank you have... but anyway thank you. Now did you buy that today, or last week? I know it doesn't matter much but just curious.

I bought it last week- like, 2 minutes after midnight on the 13th.

The piggy bank's actually my mom's... She means to paint it one of these days. Very Happy

What was your shipping method? If you got the free one, it takes over a week to arrive (USPS media mail.) the paid methods use UPS, there should be a link in your shipping notice email that'll tell you when to expect arrival.

Regardless, if you don't have it in 2 weeks, contact DDD. Very Happy
