does anyone know what happens to the current pokemon series once the diamond and pearl series begins??

it still goes one either at the same time as the new series or after the new series.

Oh ok then. :p

I heard that the cast would be different, save Max, who's grown up. Not 100% sure though. Can Anybody help me clarify this?

I haven't heard that anywhere... but I haven't been keeping up that great with Pokemon news anymore so it could be true, but I couldn't find any information to support it.

I haven't heard and couldn't find any information regarding how the anime is going to deal with the next Pokemon generation games and characters.

Also, although some of them have been out for a while, I just thought I'd post some of the new generation Pokemon for those who haven't seen them.

If Max is grown up maybe Ash will be a gym leader or face him in the Pokemon league.

it's alredy been said on a japanses website or magazine that the 2 series will run side by side or ash's adventure will continue after the new series.
